Juicy & Spicy Turkey Burgers: Sautéing With Sudha [16]



Once you start making your own patties at home, you never look at the frozen ones again. Learn how to make this supa easy, SUPAAAA quick juicy & spicy turkey burger!


Juicy & Spicy Turkey Burgers


Prep/Cook Time: 20 Minutes

What You'll Need:

•hamburger bun (I chose a brioche bun)

•mayo

•lettuce mix (lettuce, carrots, purple cabbage)

•pepperjack cheese

•pickled jalapeños

•red onion

•tomato

•red pepper flakes

•lean, ground turkey

•2 tbsp everything but elote seasoning (or combine chili powder, cumin, dried herbs, and a little parmesan cheese)

•2 tbsp garlic powder

•green goddess dressing from trader joes (or search online for at-home recipe)

How To:

➊ In a large bowl, mix together your ground turkey, everything but elote seasoning (or separated seasonings), garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and salt. On medium heat, oil up a pan. While it's warming up, slice up your vegetables - tomato, onion, and pickled jalapeños.


Once the pan is warm-hot, throw in a small chunk of your turkey mix and cook fully to taste test. Adjust flavors according to your taste. Once you've perfected your seasoning, create patties and set on parchment paper.


Put your first patty in the pan and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes before flipping. Once you've flipped, cover the pan with a lid and let the patty cook for another 4-5 minutes. Remove the lid and flip the patty again. There should be juices in the pan with your patty.


Cut the patty in half to make sure it's fully cooked. If fully cooked, add your pepperjack cheese on top and let it cook for another minute or so until the cheese is melted on top. Repeat with the rest of your patties.

Once patties are cooked, toast your bun. Add mayo on both buns then tomato, onion, and pickled jalapeños. Add your patty and pour the juices from the pan on top. Top with your lettuce and dressing / sauce.
