Fried Ravioli: Sautéing With Sudha
Time to take something as traditional as cheese ravioli and jazz it up! Fun to eat as an appetizer or filling enough for a meal!
Prep/Cook Time: 20-25 Minutes
Serving Size: 1
What You'll Need:
•frozen pack of ravioli
•oil for frying
•1 cup breadcrumbs
•1 tbsp parmesan cheese
•1/2 tbsp garlic powder
•1/2 tbsp italian seasoning
•1 cup milk
➊ Combine your breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasonings in a bowl and miix. In another bowl, whisk together your milk and egg.
➋ Dip your ravioli in the wet mixture and then coat into the dry mixture. Repeat the process once more for a thicker breading
➌ Place your coated ravioli on parchment paper and place in the fridge for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, heat up enough oil in a pot that the ravioli can swim in. Remove the ravioli from the fridge and place them one by one into the oil. Fry on both sides for 3-5 minutes (until crisp and browned)
➍ Once cooked, place the fried ravioli on a paper towel and add a dash of salt. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese and top with parsley. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.
