Breakfast Knots: Sautéing With Sudha [21]

I love breakfast. I honestly don't think the food should be limited to just morning time because it's literally good at any (and all) time(s) of the day. You could go with the everyday eggs and toast or get a lil *boujee* with the skillets and hash. Either way, it's incredible. If you're like me and eat breakfast food QUITE OFTEN then it's fun exploring new ways to eat it. Like... using a muffin tin to bake your eggs or adding ingredients to experiment new dishes. This recipe is perfect because it's super simple but it gives a new twist to your traditional 'bacon, egg 'n' cheese'. Stuff these knots with your favorite breakfast combo, bake, and never look back. Lets go!

Stuffed Breakfast Knots – Bacon, Egg ‘N’ Cheese Edition

Prep/Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Serving Size: 2-3

What You'll Need:

•1 pack of crescent rolls (to bake)

•eggs with your choice of seasonings / veggies

•2 strips bacon (I used turkey)

•2 cheese slices (I used pepperjack)

•1-2 tbsp butter (optional)

How To:

➊ Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cook your eggs with your preferred seasonings and vegetables in a skillet. Leaving it a little runny is okay as you’ll be baking the eggs in your croissants.

➋ Roll out your crescent rolls on a baking sheet and separate them using the pre-cut markings. Cut up your cheese slices and lay it down on the wide end. Top with your eggs and a cut portion of your bacon. Start rolling by rolling the wide end towards the point and tucking the ends as you go. Once fully rolled, it should be like a stuffed pocket. Repeat for all wedges. Once all wedges are done, brush on a little butter on top and sprinkle your favorite seasoning. Place baking sheet in the oven.

➌ Bake in the oven for the specified amount of time on the crescent roll packaging – be sure to check occasionally to make sure they don’t burn. Once fully cooked, plate and top with parsley or cilantro and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.


  • I replaced the cheese with pesto on some of my wedges. Extremely tasty!
